HypnoBirth Instructor

I have worked hard to become a gold seal certified HypnoBirthing® instructor to help parents approach their birthing day with more confidence and less fear. Knowledge is power and birth is certainly a powerful event! I truly believe in the Mongan Method of HypnoBirthing® which teaches and affirms that a strong mind/body connection is a key element in the process of labor and birth. I am passionate about not just "letting birth happen to you" but rather CHOOSING  to have an incredible EXPERIENCE where you feel in control, powerful and confident!  No matter what turn your birthing may take, I can promise you the HypnoBirthing® course will be of great value and benefit and will help you transition into parenthood with even more confidence and excitement.

Tara is proud to be a certified HypnoBirthing® Childbirth Educator and to be listed on the national directory of  instructors

What is HypnoBirthing®

HypnoBirthing® is a tried and true philosophy/technique  which guides and prepares a woman in childbirth that involves an in depth practice of the mind/body connection for those who wish to have a more gentle, unmedicated birthing. It uses visualizations, meditations and relaxations, along with special breathing techniques and massage to help manage all that comes with labor and birth and help a woman to utilize her own natural instincts to birth her baby safely and easily.  It is a program that considers the psychological, as well as the physical well-being of the mother, her birth partner, and the newborn, independent of context, whether that be in the quiet of a home, a hospital, or a birth center.
